The last of four high school baseball all-star games wrapped up Saturday at Ryan Lemmon Stadium as the 20th annual Ryan Lemmon Showcase was held. The Knights had 8 seniors playing their last game in their Foothill Uniform (see picture, Drake Wood was preparing for Homerun Derby).
The Trinity League defeated the Sunset League, 2-1, and the Pacific Coast League topped the Freeway League, 9-3, on Saturday.
On Friday, the Century League defeated the Sea View League, 3-1, and the South Coast League topped the Empire League, 5-4.
Big crowds showed up for each of the games, which were sponsored by the Ryan Lemmon Foundation.
There were also two home run hitting contests, a sophomore showcase and the Ryan Lemmon Foundation handed out a $500 scholarship award at each game.
