DARRELL SHERMAN | FRESHMAN HEAD COACH

We are very excited to welcome Coach Sherman to our program. He brings over 30 years of playing and coaching experience. After playing for Cerritos College and Cal State Long Beach, Coach Sherman was drafted by the San Diego Padres. He also spent some time with the Baltimore Orioles, Colorado Rockies and played 7 years in the Mexican Leagues. He has since spent many years coaching at several levels.

JOE PHILLIPS | FRESHMANASSISTANT COACH

Coach Phillips has been coaching youth and high school sports for the last 20 years and joined the Foothill Freshman staff in 2020.

CLINT BLEVINS | FRESHMAN PITCHING COACH

Coach Blevins is in his third season as the Freshman Pitching Coach at Foothill. He is a Foothill alumni and played college baseball for Chapman University.

JAKE MASSEY | FRESHMAN ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Massey is a student at Orange Coast College and is also a Foothill alumn. He played all four years as a pitcher for the Knights. After graduating in 2020, Coach Massey played at the collegiate level until an injury cut his time short. We are very excited to have him back on our fields!
